About Rilion Gracie Pensacola
Rilion Gracie Academy Pensacola (also branded Gracie Elite Pensacola) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school at 1020 N 9th Ave in Pensacola, Florida, teaching the Rilion Gracie curriculum with adult gi and no-gi classes, a parents-and-kids programme split into 3-6 and 6-12 age groups, private instruction and early-morning open mats. Owner and head coach Professor Rafael Fernandez Coelho is a Brazilian-born black belt who began judo at eight and took his judo black belt at eighteen, started jiu-jitsu in 1994 under Jorge Pereira and later trained with Ryan Gracie, and earned his BJJ black belt in July 2012 from Rilion Gracie alongside Roger and Roggan Gracie in Houston. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology, previously managed the flagship Rilion Gracie Academy in Miami, and has taught the U.S. Marshals, Miami-Dade Police and U.S. military.
