About Function Jiu Jitsu
Function Jiu Jitsu (FxJJ) is a submission-grappling academy at 1313 Grand Avenue in Billings, Montana, covering sport gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu alongside self-defense and fitness, plus yoga and mobility sessions. It is owned and led by head coach Christopher Belcher, who started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2007 and received his black belt in 2019, with Mike Jones running the adult classes and the competition team and Liz White the kids' and women's coaching. Beyond weekly adult and kids classes the academy offers weekend sessions, private lessons, workshops and seminars, and it is an affiliate of Impact Jiu Jitsu and a partner of the We Defy Foundation.
