About Guzman Championship Martial Arts
Guzman Championship Martial Arts on N Main Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico opened in June 2001 under Master Sensei Eli Guzman, an 8th-degree black belt. The school teaches karate, Muay Thai kickboxing, grappling and MMA cross-training, split into four programs: Lil' Dragons (3-4), Kids Martial Arts (5-17), Muay Thai / Kickboxing (12+) and MMA (7+). Guzman has been voted "Best in Las Cruces" by the Las Cruces Sun News Reader's Choice Awards fifteen times and was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2004 and the USAMA Hall of Fame in 2019.
