Anderson Goncalves BJJ opened in Calgary in 2005 and now runs two Alberta locations, Calgary and Okotoks. Professor Anderson Goncalves is a 6th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt - the site says the highest-ranked in Alberta - who was promoted at 20 by Aloisio Silva of Team Dojo in Rio, whose own black belt came from Carlos Robson Gracie, and who later trained under Master Joe Moreira in California as part of Team Punishment. The Calgary timetable covers Kids BJJ & Yoga for ages 4-8, Youth BJJ for 8+, co-ed adult classes at midday and in the evening, and a women's-only BJJ class taught by a woman.
