Arashi-Do Deerfoot North (McCall Lake) is one of 20+ Alberta locations of Arashi-Do Martial Arts, founded in 1985 by Kyoshi Mike Bonde and Kyoshi Gary Vig, teaching karate, Muay Thai kickboxing (Lom Pa Yu) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Its BJJ curriculum is the Arashi-Do Behring system built with Mestre Sylvio da Matta Behring, an 8th-degree coral belt, with recreational, competitive, Mini Monkeys (4-7) and Youth (8-15) streams.
