About Frontline Academy Canada
Frontline Academy Canada in Sherwood Park is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school opened in 2014 by Pedro Lott, a 4th-degree black belt with more than 20 years of teaching, and has produced World, European, Pan Am and provincial champions. The team also includes 5th-degree black belt Alexandre 'Baby' Carvalho, who spent 15 years coaching in Abu Dhabi, and 1st-degree black belt Huthayfah Penney, the first Canadian black belt to medal at an IBJJF gi grand slam, who leads the kids program. Adult gi classes run twice daily on weekdays with no-gi and drills on Tuesday and Thursday and a Saturday open mat.
