About Arkam Jiu Jitsu
ARKAM is, by its own account, the first and only Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in Saint-Étienne. Adult programmes combine a standing section based on wrestling or judo, a ground-fighting section and specific physical preparation, split across gi jiu-jitsu, no-gi grappling oriented towards MMA and self-defence, and dedicated competitor sessions. New members are assessed technically and physically to get a tailored programme, and its instructors are described as the department's only active competitors.
