About Toshido Mixed Martial Arts
Toshido MMA in Kelowna, BC was founded in 1998 by David Lea and trains MMA, gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing and wrestling in a 6,000 sq ft facility with mats, a boxing ring and a cage. Its fight team was ranked #1 in the world for winning percentage by Sherdog in 2009 and has produced UFC fighters including Rory MacDonald, Sarah Moras, Matt Dwyer and Shane Campbell. Programs include Junior Samurai kids classes from age 4, a youth jiu-jitsu competition team and a women's-only jiu-jitsu class.
