BJJ in Evergreen Park

Evergreen Park is a small village wedged into Chicago's south side, with two BJJ academies. Aries Brazilian Jiu Jitsu carries the Carlson Gracie lineage that defines so much of Chicago BJJ, and Academy of Self Defense runs as an independent self-defense / BJJ hybrid program.

For south-side practitioners, the Evergreen Park / Oak Lawn / Palos Heights triangle gives a small but real cluster — Crimson Guard in Oak Lawn and Arctic Training Center (Carlson Gracie) in Palos Heights are both within a 10-minute drive, and Southside Jiu Jitsu Club inside the Chicago city line is similarly close.
