About B-More Jiu-Jitsu
B-MORE Jiu-Jitsu is a family-friendly Gracie Jiu-Jitsu academy at 3431 Benson Ave in Halethorpe, greater Baltimore, opened in October 2014 as Baltimore Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and later rebranded after moving to a larger facility. Owner and head instructor Nick Tissue began Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in 2008, took his purple belt from Relson Gracie in 2011 and his brown from Ryron Gracie in 2016, became a certified Gracie University instructor in 2014, and received his black belt at Gracie University in 2019. The school deliberately avoids a competition focus and runs three programmes - youth jiu-jitsu from age 4, adult fundamentals and advanced classes, and a women's self-defense programme taught by Women Empowered-certified instructors.
