About Águia BH
Águia BH is a Belo Horizonte unit of Equipe Águia Dourada, a jiu-jitsu, judo and Muay Thai team founded in 1958 in Formiga, MG by Mestre Mozart Souza (9th degree red belt in jiu-jitsu, 6th dan black belt in judo, trained under Takeo Yano). The team is registered with the CBJJ, IBJJF, CBJJE, CBJJO, CBJ and the Minas Gerais federations, and has associated academies across Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Colombia, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa and Japan. The Belo Horizonte site advertises Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, judo, self-defence and physical coaching.
