About NSW Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation
The NSW Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation was founded in 2001 by black belt professors Paulo Guimaraes, Marcelo Rezende and Bruno Panno to build an organised, IBJJF-aligned competition circuit in New South Wales. It now runs four cups a season across every belt and age group, with over 100 academies represented, and is marking its 25th anniversary in 2026 with a $25,000 prize pool.
