About Straight Blast Australia

SBG Australia (Straight Blast Gym) in Leichhardt, Sydney's Inner West, has been running for 10 years as of 2026 and teaches MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission wrestling, Muay Thai and kickboxing across Kids (9-12), Teens (13-16) and adult programs, from complete beginners to professional athletes. Head coach Ben Power is a 4th degree BJJ black belt with 30+ years in combat sports, the author of the Emu Guard instructionals on BJJ Fanatics, and an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist.
