About Salvosa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Salvosa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy (Team Ascension) is a Scarborough academy led by Professor Omar Salvosa, a Carlson Gracie lineage black belt and one of the pioneers of BJJ in Ontario, who won IBJJF No-Gi World and Pan-American masters titles. The academy runs a full ladder of programs: Little Grapplers (4-6), BJJ Kids (7-10), BJJ Teens (11-14), kids competition and elite training (8-14), and adult beginner, intermediate/fundamentals, advanced/competition, no-gi submission grappling and MMA classes.
