About SJJA Coolum

SJJA Coolum Beach on Beach Rd is part of the SJJA (Bruno Alves) Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu network, running kids classes from age 3, a beginners program, all-levels and advanced adult classes, women-only classes and open mats. Head coach Professor Maverick Santos began training in Brazil in 2007 under Master Ze Radiola, moved to Australia in 2019 to compete and teach for Bruno Alves, and has medalled at the CBJJ Brazilian Nationals and won the World Abu Dhabi Pro Natal Trial and the AJP Tour Oceania No-Gi.
