About Base Training Centre - North Lakes
Base Training Centre - North Lakes on Burke Cres is one of two Base gyms in North Brisbane, teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA, stand-up wrestling, striking and kickboxing plus functional training, for kids and adults at every level. Adult memberships come as All Access or Fundamentals Only; kids memberships are split into BJJ, MMA or all-access. Every membership includes access to the fitness and weights area, and there is a monthly cross-training day when members of both gyms train together. Base was founded in April 2019 by Damien Brown, a UFC and RIZIN veteran and BJJ black belt, and the gym is veteran-owned and operated. New members get a 7-day free trial.
