About Eldorado Ducks Jiu-Jitsu

Ducks Jiu-Jitsu in Cidade Baixa, Porto Alegre, teaches kids, juvenil and adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu around a 'trilha de desenvolvimento' — a board-game-style development track designed by head professor Mateus Prates Grillo, a black belt out of Baldini Guetho Jiu-Jitsu and a physical-education student. Each lesson is a square on the board, with tasks that carry over into life outside the mat: helping at home, making the bed, hydration and nutrition. The school publishes its own free e-books, a card game and an animal-motricity skills chart for children aged 5-11.
