Highland Village, a lakeside suburb north of Lewisville, holds Rafael Formiga Jiu Jitsu Academy — Double Five HV, the home base of Rafael Barbosa "Formiga" — a 13x World Champion and 5th/6th-degree black belt with Alliance affiliation under the Double Five JJ umbrella. Formiga's competition résumé puts this among the most decorated head instructor credentials in all of DFW. The academy runs gi, no-gi, kids, and competition team programs; no long-term contracts are required and family discounts are offered.
