BJJ in Kirkland

Kirkland occupies the northeastern shore of Lake Washington, about 10 minutes north of Bellevue and 20 minutes east of Seattle. It has two BJJ academies: Gracie Barra Kirkland, the chain's flagship Eastside location running a full curriculum including kids and competition tracks, and Kaiju Kickboxing and MMA, an independent MMA-focused gym with BJJ programming.

Kirkland is well positioned for Eastside residents — close enough to Bellevue (10 minutes south) and Redmond (10 minutes east) that students can cross-train or comparison-shop across several academies. The Gracie Barra Eastside cluster of Kirkland, Redmond, and Issaquah gives the chain broad geographic coverage on this side of the lake.
