About Kapap Academy
Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness in Maddington, WA (listed as Kapap Academy) was founded in 1997 by Sensei Paul Marston and is staffed entirely by volunteers. It runs seven days a week across four age groups from age 3, offering what it calls the widest range of martial arts styles in Australia - karate, judo, aikido, jujitsu, BJJ, taijitsu, boxing, traditional weapons, kung fu, South-East Asian arts, arnis and silat, plus reality-based systems including Kapap - with women-only self-defence, MMA programs, private training and specialist courses for security, law enforcement and defence.
