IBJJF Pan No-Gi 2026: Dates, Secaucus Venue & What to Expect
The 2026 Pan IBJJF No-Gi Championship runs October 2-4 at the Meadowlands in Secaucus, NJ. Here's the schedule, ruleset, qualification, and how to watch the kickoff of no-gi season.

The Opener of No-Gi Season
The Pan No-Gi Championship is one of the biggest no-gi tournaments on the IBJJF calendar and traditionally kicks off the fall no-gi swing on the US East Coast. It's the no-gi sibling of the gi Pan Championship, drawing a deep field of competitors from across North America and beyond.
Quick facts: The 2026 Pan IBJJF No-Gi Championship runs October 2-4, 2026 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. It's the first of the three major IBJJF no-gi championships in the back half of 2026.

| Detail | Info |

| Dates | October 2-4, 2026 |
| Venue | Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, NJ |

The three-day format spreads divisions across the weekend, with adult black belt finals as the marquee session. Confirm the mat-by-mat schedule on the official IBJJF event page once it's published.
The Ruleset
As a no-gi event, the Pan No-Gi follows the IBJJF no-gi rules: adult brown and black belts may use heel hooks and knee reaping, while white through purple belts may not. Scoring is the same as the gi (2 for a takedown or sweep, 3 for a pass, 4 for mount or back). See our full No-Gi vs Gi rules comparison for the details that matter on competition day.
Pro Tip: Pan No-Gi falls early in the no-gi season, making it an ideal "tune-up" before No-Gi Worlds in December. Many competitors use it to test their no-gi game plan and bank ranking points while there's still time to adjust before the year's final major.

Registration
Unlike the gi Pan Championship (which requires adult black belts to hold 40 ranking points to enter) and No-Gi Worlds (which requires 30), Pan No-Gi has no ranking-points entry barrier -- competitors of every belt can register, subject to standard membership and division rules. Register early: the entry deadline lands well ahead of the event (September 23, 2026 for this edition), and popular divisions fill quickly.
Pan No-Gi results still count toward your IBJJF no-gi ranking. Because the Pan sits at a championship weight of 4 in the points formula, a strong result here is worth far more than a local open. See how that math works in our IBJJF ranking points guide.
Warning: Gi and no-gi rankings are completely separate. Points you earn at Pan No-Gi only count toward your no-gi ranking -- they do not help you qualify for gi events. Plan your season accordingly.
How to Watch
The 2026 Pan No-Gi will be streamed live on FloGrappling (subscription required), with multiple mats during the day sessions and the featured mat for finals. Watch on desktop, the FloSports mobile app, or connected-TV apps. Secaucus is on Eastern Time, which makes the finals session friendly for US and European viewers alike.
