Gracie Barra Artarmon is a Premium School on Reserve Road in Sydney's North Shore following the Gracie Barra international curriculum for kids, teens and adults. Professor Carlos Schiezaro is a second-degree black belt under 6th-degree Professor Marcelo Rezende, became Chief Instructor at Gracie Barra Sydney HQ in 2021, is a multiple NSWBJJF and CompNet champion and has been an event director for AFBJJ, NSWBJJF, IBJJF and Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Professional since 2015. Coach Coby De Been is a brown belt and lifelong competitor, daughter of Professor Peter de Been - Australia's first BJJ black belt and AFBJJ president - who trained at Gracie Barra Matriz in Brazil. The school also runs free self-defence and anti-bullying workshops with local schools and childcare centres.
