About Base Training Centre - Brendale
Base Training Centre Brendale on Leitchs Rd is the headquarters of Base Training Centre in North Brisbane (with a second gym at North Lakes), an 880sqm facility with 460sqm of mats, a weights area, change rooms and on-site physio and remedial massage. It teaches MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking/kickboxing, stand-up wrestling and functional training for kids and adults. Director, founder and head coach Damien Brown is a BJJ black belt and UFC and RIZIN veteran; assistant coaches Georgia Pelling (one of the few female BJJ black belts in Australia) and Vinny Peirce are also black belts.
