BTC on Bishop St in Kelvin Grove is a full-time Brisbane martial arts and fitness centre running over 90 classes a week across four safety-matted, air-conditioned halls, with a well-equipped gym included for adult members and both parents of enrolled children. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu program runs from age four through adults in small classes led by Professor Nic, with optional one-on-one lessons available morning, evening or weekends and either at the centre or at the student's own space. Alongside BJJ, BTC teaches taekwondo in age bands from 3-year-olds through teens to beginner and experienced adults under 9th Dan Grandmaster Chris, and is the only Brisbane school teaching Gendai Krav Maga, led by Dr Gavriel Schneider, who also trains Queensland Counter Terrorism Police. Classes are deliberately drop-in friendly - the syllabus is built so students can mix and match training days around shift work without missing content.
